# Refer & Earn flow Setup

To enable the Refer & Earn flow on the Bot, you need to follow these 3 steps

### Step 1 - Check Flow Settings

Once you open the App, you'll be shown the list of settings required to configure the Referral Flow. The following settings are a must and should be verified before you enable the referral flow.

* Reward Points which referrer gets on successfully referring&#x20;
* Reward Points which the referee gets when invited by someone as a welcome bonus

Here are some other settings which you can modify

* After how many hours the coupon generated by a user should expire
* Rewards Coin Multiplier - How many points equal 1 rupee? You can set the multiplier as 10, which will ensure users get 1 rupee to redeem for 10 points that they earn&#x20;
* You can set that if a user purchases "X" days prior, should the user be considered a new user or not?

### Step 2 - Manage Credits

This window provides you to perform the following operations

* Export the current credits of existing users
* Add / Subtract credits for a particular user
* Import credits from 3rd party referral programs like smile
* Ban a user from the Referral Program

#### 1. Add / Subtract credits for a particular user

You can enter the phone number of a user and choose the points you want to add. Set the expiry date of the credits and click on Update Credits.&#x20;

In case you want to remove certain credits for a particular user, click the delete button to the right-hand side of the table row, this will make those points invalid and won't be considered for the referral program.&#x20;

#### 2. Ban a user from the Referral Program.

If you find a referral program being misused by a certain user, you can enter their number and click on Ban User.

#### 3. Export the current credits of existing users.

You can click on export credits and can take the export of credits earned by users for easy viewing.

#### 4. Import credits from 3rd party referral programs

if you want to migrate the reward points earned by your users from some 3rd party app, you can simply take a CSV export from that app and click on import credits on the app. The credits will be migrated instantly.&#x20;

Once you are satisfied, click on Push Changes to Bot
