# Generate WooCommerce Coupon

**What it does:**\
Creates a discount coupon in WooCommerce dynamically during a flow and returns the generated coupon code for use (e.g., sending to user, applying on checkout).

**When to Use:**

* When you want to offer discounts dynamically in a WhatsApp flow<br>
* For abandoned cart recovery campaigns<br>
* To incentivize conversions (e.g., limited-time offers)<br>
* For personalized promotions (single-use coupons per user)<br>

**UI Inputs:**

* **Discount Type**
  * Type: Dropdown (Percent / Fixed)<br>
  * Required: Yes<br>
  * Description: Defines whether the discount is percentage-based or a fixed amount<br>
  * Special Behavior: Only allows selection between “Percent” or “Fixed”<br>
* **Discount Value**
  * Type: Number<br>
  * Required: Yes<br>
  * Description: The value of the discount (e.g., 10% or ₹100 depending on type)<br>
* **Expiry (in days)**
  * Type: Number<br>
  * Required: No (default provided)<br>
  * Description: Number of days before the coupon expires<br>
  * Special Behavior: Defaults to 3 days if not specified<br>
* **Usage Limit**
  * Type: Number<br>
  * Required: No (default provided)<br>
  * Description: Maximum number of times the coupon can be used<br>
  * Special Behavior: Defaults to 1 (single-use coupon)<br>
* **Individual Use Only**
  * Type: Boolean (Toggle)<br>
  * Required: No (default provided)<br>
  * Description: Restricts the coupon to be used alone (cannot be combined with other coupons)<br>
  * Special Behavior: Defaults to false<br>
