# Read Next Entry From Sheet

**Node Name:**\
Read Next Entry From Sheet

***

**What it does:**\
Fetches the next available row (entry) from a connected Google Sheet and returns it for use in the flow. It keeps track of progress so each time the node runs, it reads the next row sequentially.

***

**When to Use:**

* When you want to distribute leads, coupon codes, or data stored in a Google Sheet one-by-one
* For sequential allocation use cases (e.g., assigning unique codes, numbers, or tasks)
* When running campaigns where each user should get a unique entry from a list
* When managing limited inventory stored in a sheet (e.g., vouchers, invites)
***

**UI Inputs:**

* **GSheet URL**
  * Type: URL
* Required: Yes
* Description: Link to the Google Sheet from which entries will be read
* Special Behavior: Must be a valid and accessible Google Sheet
* **Emails to CC**
  * Type: List (Text / Email IDs)
* Required: Yes
* Description: Email addresses to notify when sheet entries are running low
* Special Behavior: Accepts multiple emails
* **Alert Before Rows Left**
  * Type: Number
* Required: Yes
* Description: Threshold for remaining rows at which alert emails will be triggered
* Special Behavior: Default is 75
***

**Outputs:**

* **successful**
  * Type: Boolean
* Meaning:
    * true → Entry successfully fetched
* false → Failed to fetch entry (e.g., no rows left or error)
* **next entry**
  * Type: Text
* Meaning: The next row’s data fetched from the sheet
***

**Requirements:**

* **Supported Events:**
  * All events (*all*)
* **Required Integrations:**
  * None explicitly required (but Google Sheet must be accessible via URL)
***

**Notes (if anything unclear):**

* The node internally maintains a pointer (cursor), so entries are not repeated
* If the sheet runs out of rows, the node may return failure
* Alert emails are triggered when remaining rows fall below the defined threshold
* Ensure the Google Sheet has proper sharing permissions (accessible to the system)
