# Start Telephony Call (Async)

**Action Node: Start Telephony Call (Async)**

***

#### Node Name

Start Telephony Call (Async)

***

#### What it does

Initiates an automated outbound phone call to the user during an ongoing conversation using a configured voice agent.\
The call runs **asynchronously**, meaning the flow continues without waiting for the call to complete. Call results (status, summary, transcript) are returned later as outputs.

***

#### When to Use

* To trigger automated voice calls for order verification, reminders, or follow-ups
* When you want a voice bot to speak and interact with users over a phone call
* For scalable outbound calling without human intervention
* Lead qualification calls
* Re-engagement campaigns
