# Update Freshdesk Ticket Priority

**What it does:**\
Updates the priority level of an existing Freshdesk ticket directly from the flow.

**When to Use:**

* When you want to automatically set or change ticket urgency based on user responses<br>
* In escalation flows (e.g., angry customers → set priority as High/Urgent)<br>
* When routing tickets based on issue severity<br>
* To standardize ticket prioritization during ticket creation or updates<br>

**UI Inputs:**

* **Priority**
  * Type: Dropdown (fixed options)<br>
  * Required: Yes<br>
  * Description: Select the priority level to assign to the Freshdesk ticket<br>
  * Special Behavior:
    * Options available: Low, Medium, High, Urgent<br>
    * Value must be explicitly selected by the user configuring the flow<br>

* **Successful**
  * Type: Boolean<br>
  * Meaning:
    * true → Ticket priority was successfully updated<br>
    * false → Update failed<br>

  * Freshdesk Ticket Created<br>

* **Required Integrations:**
  * Freshdesk<br>

**Notes:**

* This node only updates priority; it does not create a ticket<br>
* Should be used after a ticket exists in Freshdesk<br>
* Typically paired with logic nodes (conditions) to dynamically assign priority based on context<br>
* No dynamic fetching required since priority values are predefined
