WhatsApp Catalog: 360Dialog

Set up and connect product catalogs to your WhatsApp Business API account. Uploading inventory to Facebook, linking catalogs to WABA, and enabling commerce features for seamless product messaging.


To use products and catalogs in your WhatsApp Business API account, please follow the next steps.

STEP 1: Upload Inventory to Facebook

First, you need to upload your inventory to Facebook. You can use the API or Facebook’s Commerce Manager to do that.

Your inventory needs to be uploaded to Facebook in a catalog format — see About Catalogs for more information.

If you already have a Facebook catalog set up, we suggest that you leverage that catalog for WhatsApp commerce use cases.

If you need to create a catalog, there are two possibilities:

You can upload only one catalog per WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), but the same catalog can belong to multiple phone numbers.


STEP 2: Connect the catalog to a WABA

To connect a catalog to your WhatsApp business account

Go to Business Manager and select your business

Click WhatsApp Manager in the Hamburger Menu

Click Catalog

Click Choose a Catalog. From the drop-down menu, select the catalog that you want to connect

Click View Catalog if you want to view or manage the catalog

Click Connect Catalog and add the Partner Business ID. eg.734443296905665 (Supposed to be entered manually)

Check Connection Status

The catalog is connected to your WhatsApp business account. You can start sending Single Product Messages and Multi Product Messages to your customers and receive responses from them.

Finally, paste the catalogue ID in WABA Catalog ID field and Update the inbox.

Enable the Catalogue

Navigate to the details section on your 360Dialog Dashboard and scroll till you find the toggles for Catalog and Cart Feature and enable them

Can I use an existing Facebook catalog for WhatsApp Business API?

Yes, if you already have a Facebook catalog set up, you can link it to your WhatsApp Business API account instead of creating a new one.

How do I connect my catalog to WhatsApp Business API?
  • Go to Business Manager and select your business.

  • Open WhatsApp Manager > Catalog.

  • Select an existing catalog from the dropdown and click Connect Catalog.

Where do I enter the Partner Business ID during setup?

The Partner Business ID (eg. 734443296905665) needs to be manually entered when connecting your catalog to your WABA account.

How do I enable catalog and cart features in 360Dialog?

Navigate to the Details section in your 360Dialog dashboard, scroll to the Catalog and Cart Feature toggles, and enable them.

What types of product messages can I send via WhatsApp?

Once your catalog is linked, you can send Single Product Messages (SPMs) and Multi-Product Messages (MPMs) to customers.

Can I update my catalog after linking it to WhatsApp?

Yes, any updates made to your catalog in Commerce Manager will automatically reflect in WhatsApp.

What happens if my catalog is not visible in WhatsApp Manager?

Ensure:

  • The catalog is correctly set up in Commerce Manager.

  • The WABA account is correctly linked.

  • The catalog ID is correctly entered in the WABA Catalog ID field.

Can I use multiple catalogs with different WhatsApp numbers?

No, each WABA supports only one catalog, but multiple phone numbers can use the same catalog.
